This week’s Discovery Download is “Last Night (Radio Edit)” by Mavado, from the Reggae music store. Mavado is a Jamaican dancehall artist with a thick, rumbling vocal style. The beat is a blooming, bubbling electro pulse, over which Mavado carves out a meditative, revealing look at city life in his thick patois. You can find out more about the artist on his Myspace.
